here's the deal on tiers. this is how the houses are generally seen. although, it is opinion based, so some may change houses within the tiers...but here's how most see it in abc order.

top- ADPi, AOPi, KKG, KD, Phi Mu, Theta, ZTA

mid- AXO, XO, DDD, DZ, SK

bottom- AGD, DG, GPB, PBP, SDT


about recs-- try to get recs for the houses you are definitely interested in. they definitely help you in some ways, and some sororities require recs before a bid is offered. BUT, if a sorority really likes and you you dont have a rec, they will find one for you. ALSO, make sure you fill out your rush application and resume out with LOTS OF DETAILS!

HOW IT IS
1. KKG, ADPi, XO, PhiMu
2. KAT,KD,AXO,APOi, ZTA,DDD
3.SK,DZ,PiPhi
4.SDT,DG,AGD,GPB
Sorry but KD and ZTA are def. NOT top tier. Never have been. AOPi used to be and so did KAT but they have both fallen. That said, every house at UGA has something to offer. Really, the houses should be divided as to "old Row" and New because they are different.

KAT and AOPi have fallen. KD is not the Top tier. The 1-4 ranks as listed by you are exactly right!

Oh and... ZETA is not Top tier either.

I would say most people think AOPi and ZTA are top tier, theta and xo are debatable between each individual. same with kappa...if you're not the crazy party type you're going to prefer zta or aopi over any of those three.

If dividing into old and new I would say it goes like this:

top of old row= ADPi, KKG, PM
top of new row= AOPi, KD, ZTA,

The only people saying that are AOPi's and Zetas. We all know where they stand. Why don't you? KD will never have the class to be considered top tier. They just won;t. Not now and not ever. That is how it is...
