i know several girls that are in "old row" sororities & they DID NOT graduate from private schools. example....phi mu & adpi. & in adpi there is a girl that got cheating in high school (public school) several times.

I went thru rush 2 years ago. legacy at an old row house (UGA). NONE of the girls at any of the old standards (XO, ADPi,PhiMu) acted like they gave one flip about ANY of the PNM's. They all looked bored and like they had somewhere else to be. I pledged a
"s. milledge" house and could not be happier.

point of view, maybe since all the old row girls are rich, private school girls they figure they don't need to be smart. haha. really- I think all of old row has just gotten lazy and feel they are to good to compete therefore, losing some good girls to other houses.

Should know their yield after all these years. Old Row has always been in competition with each other. They need to take smarter girls so they can do the math when it comes to making cuts. Do you think that The Westminster School in Atlanta gives out snap bids? How about The Lovett school? No they don't! The run a competent show as should you Old Row sororities. Face it, you are dumb and girls are choosing other sororities.

i would much rather be in a new role house and know that i got a bid because i'm an individual and not the same as every single girl in my sorority like all the old row houses... (ie: rich, snobby, private school, etc)

i cut 2 of the "top" old row houses during rush and the other two "top" houses cut me. and honestly, i wasn't offended at all until i learned that i was probably cut because i came from a public school (which by the way is one of the top public schools academically in GA).

but on a side note, getting cut from sororities isn't necessarily a bad thing. going through rush i could honestly see myself in 10 of the 17 houses. getting cut by a few of those actually helped my decision, just sayin :)

to below. there is no "one" house when you go thru. if you go in with that attitude you are going to be very disappointed. someone on here posted that they do know ADPi's and PhiMu's who went to public schools. maybe ADPi's but not many PhiMu's and I do not know any KKG or XO's who were not private school. Anyway- everyone should go thru with an open mind. some of the "mid" or "lower" tier houses were pleasant surprises to me!

that is because half of KKG and XO are from Texas. Who the hell knows where they went to school....
