#991by: This is unreal.
This is website is a disgrace to the university.
To anyone reading this: as a sister at UGA, please do not judge all of us based on what you see here. Most girls are classy and sensible enough to refrain from bashing each other on here, yet the actions of a few are reflecting poorly on our entire greek system.
To any potential new members: I beg you to give each sorority a fair chance. Don't form opinions based on what you read here, because there is truly a sorority where each girl can feel at home. This website, however, is a fair representation of no one.
Please, greek ladies of UGA: hold yourselves to higher standards. Whatever house you're in, whatever letters you wear, whatever your philanthropy, colors, or crest: you can do better than this. What would your founders say if they knew you were stooping so low as to attack each other? What would ALL our founders say? We're all in the greek system to support each other, not tear each other down.
Raise your standards, ladies!

An Athens-Clarke police officer on patrol about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, stopped at Sigma Kappa sorority house, 654 S. Milledge Ave., to check on a woman he saw lying on her back in the driveway, according to the officer's report. A nearby car also seemed to be backing away from the woman, the officer noted.
The woman said she was OK, but didn't want her boyfriend to leave, so she laid down in his path.
Her identification showed she was 20, and when the officer asked why she was wearing the type of wristband handed out in bars, she gave four different explanations, including that the bands were for reservations at a restaurant nearby. Because "none of these explanations sounded likely" and the woman smelled of alcohol, the officer arrested her and charged her with underage drinking.
The boyfriend, who was 21, was allowed to leave.
