sorority recruitment

I'm considering attending UGA in the fall and definitely want to rush. I'm out-of-state and have no connections in the sororites. I'm not a legacy but I have a high GPA and would consider myself a "typical" sorority girl. What are my chances of getting a bid? And if I did, would my chances stand in the lower tier sororities?

Tiers are irrelevant, and they don't really exist. Every single sorority is amazing. No one really cares what sorority you're in. Every chapter has something different to offer. The people on here that put down other houses are either just plain mean or insecure.

Your chances are not any lower than any one else's. Trust the system. Don't turn your nose up at ANY of the houses, and you'll be fine either way. There are a lot of girls that get cut, but since this year DPhiE will be colonizing, I'm sure mostly everyone will get a bid somewhere! That's why panhellenic is expanding because too many girls are getting cut.
