sophomore

I will be transferring to UGA next fall and would really like to rush. I know southern schools rush is a lot more competitive than others. I am from the east coast and will be a sophomore is it still possible for me to get a bid without knowing anyone?

absolutely! there are lots of sophomores in my pledge class who came from far states without knowing anyone

I rushed as a sophomore in the fall and while I personally didn't get a bid (trying again with informal recruitment now!) most of the sophomores that I met were able to find a great sisterhood. While I found that most of the upperclassmen were cut from a lot of houses the first round, there are so many sororities at UGA that they still had a bunch of options. Anyways, only one of them will matter in the end.
