What happens to a frat that gets suspended by their national and university?

To answer the question above......all activities by the chapter (social mixers, parties, alumni events, intramurals, philanthropy, etc) are banned while both the University and their National Office conduct their investigation into the hazing allegations. No functions of any kind is to be given by the chapter, however, they can still hold chapter meetings which will probably have to be documented and monitored by either an Alumnus or chapter advisor. If the chapter voilations any of the sanctions whie the investigation is in progress, the university does have the right to withdraw recognition from the fraternity. If/when that happens, the National Office will then revoke the charter, closing the chapter. This is usually not good.

What actually happen that caused Delta Sig to get suspended? And what criminal charges have been reported?
