HI! I was wondering how welcoming some of the houses are to transfers? Im a Chi O at my university but im thinking of coming to UGA next fall for my second year! Do they normally except girls from other schools in the same sorority?

I think you'll have no problem being "excepted." LOL Is English even your first language?

You will have a hard time getting into the most competitive chapters unless you're beautiful or come from a comparable chapter at your current school. A top tier house isn't going to want a bottom tier sister making them look bad.

Once a member, ALWAYS a member. Chi O here or Chi O there. They may not allow you to live in the house due to constraints, but you are granted the right to attend chapter meetings, hold office and become involved. You are a Chi O, just initiated at a different chapter.

Call your national HQ. I am so confident in saying yes you are in as an active. If there is not a house on campus you then go to alum status.
