Within the last year two they've decided to sign 35-40 person pledge classes. By doing so they don't care if any of them drop. They also figured that more pledges will result in more pledges already knowing or meet more girls from more sororities which would help them improve "status." Lastly more pledges generally results in more cool kids which will make them a "better" fraternity.
So have they had 10 drop, I'd believe it.

Have a close friend in Pike, only 3 dropped. Wouldn't necessary speculate that they are just a bid giving fraternity either. From what I've heard from my friend, they only had around 10-12 bids that were given out that weren't accepted. Say what you want about them but they aren't terrible
