As a black girl should I rush?

Will rush be fine for me if I’m black? I hang out with lots of white ppl and I guess I’m “white washed” but nervous that I won’t get a bid because of my skin color.

It’s actually an advantage during rush to not be white, at least that’s what my black friends have told me. They said as long as you are a cute preppy girl the world is your oyster since sororities need diversity and most girls rushing are white.

I met two of my best friends going through rush this past fall. They are both black and both got into good sororities. One is in my dorm and one is my sorority sister who I love going out with.
