Sororities underrated and overrated

Based on what I’ve seen around campus and following COB, here’s what I think of based on how each sorority has been looking:
Underrated/trending up Pi Phi, A Chi O, AOPi
Overrated/trending down: Aphi, Tri Delt, Gphi
Pi Phi is historically a more mid sorority but got a good PC this year and I know frats enjoy having socials with them, same goes for Axo. AOPi has a lot of sweet and pretty girls and is a well rounded group.
Aphi is honestly just a knockoff Kappa Delta and is known for having the meanest and most entitled girls on campus who couldn’t get a bid from old row. Tri Delt and Gphi don’t have this same rep but self rank a lot and have some problems with their sisterhood, also just get some weird girls in the mix.

I actually agree with this. AOii and axo are two of my fav pcs this year. Super fun at socials. I don’t know enough about pphi but the girls I met at rush were very nice and fun. Aphi is just too new and tries too hard. I agree trid is really falling. I feel Aphi is more like trid girls who want to pretend to be kd. Again, I don’t know much about gphi except they do have good socials.

all of this looks right to me, it’s good to see axo and pi phi getting some recognition because these two have done really well in recruitment recently and have become more competitive houses. sad to see tri delt falling but they had some scandals this year with their new pc.

Serious. This Aphi as a knockoff KD take is just getting boring. Clearly the same poster over and over again. I read GR to be entertained. The Aphi stuff is stale. Come up with a new house to dog.

this is definitely true also, i just think of pi phi as more social and see a lot of them downtown or at frat parties, but agd is also on the rise for sure

AGD may be on the rise but they still don’t have great socials or relationships with frats

Agree with Pi Phi. The others aren’t underrated. They are already considered top houses so where they fall in the pecking order is all personal preference. Nobody here throws shade at them. The overrated list is tacky. Those are also good houses. The Aphi knock is just a stale GR cold take. They house has been on campus less than 10 years and is widely regarded as a solid upper mid. Any fair person knows that’s impressive but hating on Aphi has become a tired meme on here that keeps a few posters busy.

aphi has done well relatively for the time they’ve been here, however they consider themselves on par with old row which is just dumb. also kd is a similar house but is a lot better and has way better connections and respect on campus so it’s hard not to make the comparison

No Aphi isn’t OR but then again not all OR is all that great. To be fair if you stripped away the imaginary old row mystique a tri Delt or KD or even ZTA would easily be considered a better house than some of the old rows. I mean if you were new to campus and didn’t know the history and just looked at houses or girls even newbies Aphi would be considered a top house. This OR stuff only matters on obscure sites like this.

Of all the chapters here, AXO is among the ones that care the least about stupid greekrank.

This is a bad take, there’s no reason to assume an axo is behind this post. All of the chapters listed are definitely on the rise, not really a point in denying it

I really do like Axo and Aoii! I have friends in both and their social schedules this year make me jealous. Trid is too focused on being a party group. My roomie is a trid and they are getting in trouble by exec often. Gphi girls are just awkward. Aphi is not trending down bc they haven’t trended up yet. They post they are top but their pcs and socials don’t reflect that. I dont know enough about Pphi except their social schedule seems lax but seem to have a good sisterhood.

Agree! I can’t speak much to AXO because I don’t know their Pc well but I know Pi phi especially has been doing a lot better and has become a more desired house for Pnms. Their fall recruitment will be really good and I also know that they are a frat favorite at socials.
