Fall Rush at UGA
by: dabombdiggetyHi just wondering how does rush work here and how to still catch the eye of sororities even if the don’t allow rec letters. Also if you are interested in joining a particular sorority in the spring especially if they don’t do spring rush is there a way to be considered for that sorority

Your best chance of a bid is fall recruitment. And there's nothing like being a new member in the fall, it's the best! Also rec letters are not required but are accepted. Recs will not get you a bid but they don't hurt, and many girls do get their rec letters. Spring rush is not a secondary rush, it's just COB and most sororities that can offer a few spots give them to girls they already know, if they bother to at all. AXiD is new and they will be recruiting heavily through COB, and some of the smaller sororities will be looking to COB in spring. Fall is best though. IDK what you mean, 'how does rush work here'.

Go through rush and present your best you, and be open minded. THere are no bad sororities here so don't take this site seriously.

AXiD won't start COB until early next semester after they get their charter, but it doesn't hurt to reach out if you are interested.
