UGA Sororities ‘23
by: honest opinions
Top: adpi, theta, phi mu, kappa, chi o
most established and well loved sororities; usually for old money rich type girls; very selective; a lot of private school girls; some nice girls in these chapters
Upper Mid: kd, aopi, zeta, tri delt, sk
KD has the influencer type and definitely know how to have a good time; a lot of out of state girls here. AOPi and ZTA have a lot of classy type and Christian girls; some very nice girls in these. Tri Delt and SK have a variety of different cliques like party girls vs. classy preppy types; these groups don’t tend to mix, but as long as you find your group it’s solid.
Mid: aphi, dz, gphi, axo, dg
Aphi has an interesting mix of girls; some out of state, some in state; wealth and looks seem to take a priority here. DZ and GPhi have been recruiting the same as they’ve been; very well rounded and balanced types that like to have fun overall. AXO has the classy Christian type that also like to have fun but not party too hard. DG has a mix of personalities, party girls and then some classy smart types and then those in between.
Lower Mid: alpha gam, pi phi, sdt, dphie
respected, smart, heavily involved in philanthropy; good sisterhood; there are many different personalities in these sororities which some girls may like the diversity; these sororities might not go out a lot but there’s always a group of girls that do that you can find
PNMs take these rankings with a grain of salt. This is just a generalization of what people in Greek Life believe because it’s all so subjective. There are nice, mean, smart, and weird girls in every sorority. The right sorority is one that you feel most comfortable in. Trust in your conversations and your gut. I’m just a senior in Greek Life giving my opinion.
