rushing as a sophomore

I am from Chicago and transferred in and I have decided to rush. I understand summer rush is a thing and that's typically when every big house fills their sophomore list. Is it still worth rushing during formal rush?

Houses that fill up in the summer take almost no sophomores so you’re not at a disadvantage
