if you are rushing as a sophomore will I be able to rush all of the houses too? or do i need connections? how do they choose sophomores?

IDK what you mean, you go through the same process as everyone else and the sororities' selection process is no different. If you have connections it helps, if you don't you will still be considered. No house automatically cuts sophomores.
