Which sororities are old/new row?
by: :))))
I'm a senior in high school so just wondering! And what is the difference? Is it just the age of the sorority or because more people are in-state?

Sororities are considered old row because of the dates they were founded at UGA.
They're generally considered as being more exclusive/prestigious and tend to have more "old money" connected girls in them.
These are: ADPI, Phi Mu, Theta, Kappa, and Chi O (even though I personally find Chi O to be a different vibe from the rest of the OR sororities).
At the end of the day ALL sororities here are good - people don't care about OR/NR as much as it seems on this site - they might be more "exclusive" but that doesn't necessarily mean better!
I would rank them separately because the new row sororities are also getting really competitive like KD, Zeta, Tri Delt, AOII etc.
