Sorority Ranks + Observations (from a recent grad)

Top: ΑΔΠ, ΚΚΓ, ΚΑΘ, ΦΜ
Old row, Old money. Lots of wealthy out-of-state girls or private school girls from Atlanta. As with every sorority, there are really nice girls in these chapters, but they are the most selective and always will be.

Lower Top: ΚΔ, ΧΩ, ΖΤΑ, ΑΟΠ
These chapters are interchangeable and give off their own unique vibe. From what I’ve seen, the girls in each chapter are very similar to each other. Chi O should technically be at the top because they are an old row sorority, but they are a lot more lax and down to earth. KD notoriously recruit all the insta baddies, and west coast girls. Zeta and AOPi recruit heavy on the God squas

Mid: ΔΔΔ, ΣΚ, ΔΖ
You begin to see more diversity in these chapters. Tri Delt recruited a super diverse pledge class last year and they, along with DZ and SK are solid sororities overall with a variety of different girls. No particular rep IMO.

Lower Mid: ΑΦ, ΑΧΩ, ΠΒΦ, ΑΓΔ
Alpha Phi had a better year this year considering how new they are to UGA, but they’ve recruited an odd mix of girls that they put into groups based on who they think is prettiest in the pledge class. AXO, Pi Phi, and AGD all have extremely smart girls who ranked really high on the grading report for panhellenic this past year. Needless to say they’re less likely to go out in comparison to other chapters, but they have a solid balance between their academics and their social lives.

Bottom: ΔΓ, ΣΔΤ, ΔΦΕ
I hate to say it but everyone knows these are the bottom houses. However these chapters don’t get the credit they deserve. Sig delt puts together the most anticipated and popular philanthropic event of the year (greek grind), and DG and DphiE are heavily involved in their philanthropies as well. They all have great sisterhoods and the girls in it seem to really enjoy it a lot.

I can’t post on here and not say how important it is to trust your gut when finding a sorority that’s right for you. Ranks shouldn’t exist but unfortunately they just do for a variety of different reasons. If you’re a PNM on here because you want to be in a top sorority PLEASE reevaluate your thought process. You’re gonna have fun no matter which sorority you join. It’s just up to you to decide where you think your people are and where you think you’ll flourish as a person.
