i’m a freshman rn and went to a different university fall 2021. had to go back home bc i got sick but am looking to transferring here fall 2023 if i get accepted (i’ll be a junior as i’m still taking community college credits!) not sure if COBs are the same every year or are different depending on space etc. if any of y’all can let me know how that process is and such that’d be great! i don’t have any former status in a sorority since my old uni had spring rush, thanks!

COB's usually go to girls that are already known and there aren't that many offered. These are girls that either went through formal rush and dropped out, or girls that got to know sorority members through living in the dorms or in classes or friends of friends. It is hard to get a COB if you are new to the school. You should definitely try formal rush in fall; that is your best chance. Upperclassmen are considered separately from freshmen so you would not be competing with them for spots.
