Junior PNM advice
by: HmmOk I'm transferring in this fall as a junior from a small christian college not in the south. Would it be worth my time to rush? I'd really like to join a sorority if I can.

The abosolut worse thing that could happen is you get cut or decide it's not for you. Also your pledge class will primarily be younger girls. My PC was almost all freshmen, 5 sophomores and 1 junior.
If you still want to join a house after you primary you can try cob. All houses here are awesome, welcome to UGA!

Honestly, some houses may cut you right off the bat for your junior status. However, there is an upper classmen quota that figures into how many girls a chapter can take (in addition to the regular quota).
Give it a try. Know that any body who is inviting you back is interested in you.
Like the previous poster noted, if you get overwhelmed and drop our of formal, sign up for COB. I know my chapter has picked up a few upperclassmen who COB'd but did not do formal in the past. Warning: COB is hit or miss as far as how many slots are available, as houses can make quota, but then COB up to chapter average size, or if girls are studying overseas, etc.
Bottom line: Keep an open mind, and enjoy the UGA experience!
