fit in?

Hey guys! From what I have heard and read, UGA is a total party school and a total liberal school. I have no problem with either of these, but I am not a partier and I am not a liberal. If I came to UGA/joined a sorority would I feel totally out of place and like an outcast?

From my experiences UGA is much more republican than liberal, at least in respect to Greek life. As for not being a "partier" it just depends on how you present yourself. It's very important not to act as if you are condemning people for partying.

Definitely not! I have no problem with people drinking or partying,it's just not my thing. I don't want to always feel left out and I'm worried that really all most people in greek life do. I could be wrong, but that's why I asked the question.. Because I don't know! But I just want to know if I would be stuck alone on a Friday night if I didn't want to go to a bar...

I suspect Georgia is a liberal school in the same sense that Texas, Virginia or North Carolina are liberal. As in more liberal than A&M or Bama, but still conservative or split overall in the general population and even more so in the Greek system.
