Junior Fall Rush

Thank you. I am aware that some sororities are not allowed to accept juniors or seniors, but I am not sure which ones. I don’t want to aim for those if I rush.

No NPC sorority can be 'not allowed' to take juniors, so they aren't going to have any kind of official policy made public on the subject, but it would be that a chapter has decided that they won't take juniors, and they would only tell you that if you know someone in that chapter well enough to ask. With that said, your best chance as a junior is knowing members in houses, so start working your connections now because that's the only way you can 'aim' for a sorority, not during rush. During rush, the sororities do the choosing and your ranks of them don't figure into their decisions of inviting you back or not, so you can't really 'aim' for certain houses. If a chapter doesn't take juniors they will release you first round. Don't take it personally and be open minded to the sisterhoods who do ask you back. You know members from classes and all around, so start with them and let them know you are considering rushing and hear what they have to say.
