Is it hard to join a frat from oos?
by: OosIf someone is coming to uga as a freshmen from oos is it hard to join a decent frat. Don’t know anyone at the school. If I come in September will most houses have already decided on their pledge classes by then? Could go in my own state but uga seems more fun. TIa

There are fraternity rush events all spring and summer- it’s not impossible to get a bid if you wait until school starts but it’s less likely. I’d try to come down a few times to get to meet ppl and try to find a home. You can also do the thrive program this summer and meet ppl in Greek life that way.

Meant if I came for the first time when dorms opened at the start of school year.
