Which fraternities gave out bids to UNG spring admits

by:

Curious. I know SX did. I know KA and SAE did not. Wonder who else is trying to skirt the rules.

I have a friend in the SX pledge class and this is definitely true. Not sure why they felt the need to give out under the counter bids but they totally did.

This has been discussed before. They bid their friends who didn't get into UGA as freshman. It is what it is but nobody can pretend Greek membership is based on anything of merit when they would rather bid their well-connected flunkees than people who were actually able to get into the school.

The SX pledge I know of from UNG didn't know anyone before summer rush so they are not just bidding high school fiends.

Wouldn't have thought that was worth the risk. Maybe they need to make those bids disappear.

Are they the only guys that did this? I know several guys that are top-tier legacies who have not been rushed at all that are spring admits. Guess those guys are playing by the rules

It's not a good look if you can't get enough bid acceptances from your own school.

SN bid at least 1 UNG guy, and since they hand bids out to kids before they even meet them I bet there are at least 3 or 4 more minimum! They did drop the kid when they found out he didn't go here, but how did you not know that in the first place?? smh, blanket bidding is such a bad idea.

I know SX has at least 1 but if they have one they probably have more. I may know the same SN pledges running around Athens that go to UNG and have SN bids.

What about FIJI and KS? They are the usual culprits but I don't know anyone who pledged either.

Agree not a good look if you can't fill your class from a school of over 35k. Also more likely for UNG guy to not be able to cut it academically. Why take the risk?
