So tired of these other supposedly Elite schools bad mouthing our UGA . IMO everyone here that came in as a Freshman is a Rock Star ! You were required outstanding grades coupled with tons of AP and high SAT/ACT scores. Besides clubs, sports and other outside activities. Think about how many of your friends did not get in and you also had self doubt as well . Ain’t nobody random as a Freshman at UGA!!!!!!!!!!

Number #1 party school in the nation! Everyone deserves the paradise that are underage Athens bars and coming to class drunk after another super disappointing football season!

And you did all of that just to get denied by a school that is 10 spaces below bama on average in almost every higher learning publication in America. SMH this is a party school, no one comes here for an education.

OP You got this right. There are 5500 freshman admitted out of I think 38000 applications? Correct me if I’m wrong , but We ALL should be thankful for the opportunity of attending UGA!!

Such a great school! Not a single school at UGA is top 25 in the nation, always below the top 50 in every higher learning publication. Everyone applies here for lenient bars, parties and greek life so thats why it is so competitive.

To start, UGA is in the top 50, a simple google search can tell you that. Also if we’re gonna talk about rankings let’s talk about how tech is consistently ranked one of the highest in suicide rates:) have fun tho
