Do tiers matter/ why

No I’d say the biggest differences are just about reputation on campus and what frats you hang out with. Top tiers have more prestige and competitiveness and some of the lower sororities do get some oddballs here and there, but every house has their own personality and has a lot to offer so go where is the best fit. A sorority is a sorority- they all have socials, date nights, sisterhood, and philanthropy so it just depends on which group of girls you fit with best
