Bottom Tier or Don’t Join?

The only place I got a bid was a bottom sorority. I don’t want to name it but to give a clue was considered the second worst (excluding sdt, and this was before aphi and dphie came along) so I decided to be a gdi to avoid the stigma/embarrassment of being in that house.

Would you have done the same thing? I’m just curious. How low does the sorority have to be ranked before you’re better off not in one??

Aphi will be in its 5th year on campus this year. If you rushed before they were on campus, you should be way too old to care about the answer.

Anyone worried about/embarrassed by so-called stigma due to a 'rank' doesn't deserve a sorority. You did the right thing for all concerned. That sisterhood dodged a bullet with you and is much better off.
