There are lots of reasons but fit is the primary one. Your attitude will also play a part. Beyond that, it is a numbers game. If you are high on the list, you won’t be cut. Sometimes it is a matter of so many others wanting the same house, only the very top of the list makes the cut.

it honesty depends on the sorority. some of them have their pc picked out before rush even starts. for the ones who actually do it right, your vibes, your involvement and your looks will get you in the door

honestly you don’t really have to “do” anything it’s more a case of not standing out or not having connections. this applies to most houses that make big cuts first round (i.e. anything mid or above)
