What are my choices?

You don’t sound like someone that would have been considered a good match for most houses as a true freshman so your still aren’t and there aren’t lots of spots for sophomores.

I think you meant UNG and you don’t seem like you have anything to offer a house. Everyone is pretty and social. You aren’t special.

any house of girls worth actually being in will consider you. give recruitment a try and if it works out or doesn't you'll get your answer. i know girls who joined sororities as juniors, these other people don't know what they're talking about and probably are "peaking" in college by destroying their livers and skipping classes.

I know it’s hard not to, but it’s not something you need to worry about. You will end up in the house you need to be in. It might not be the top sororities if that’s what you were looking for but ultimately you will end up where you belong or maybe you won’t join a sorority and that is okay too! I know people told me that so many times throughout rush and by the end of the week I was tired of hearing that but I promise it’s true:)

What the other comments are trying to say is you have a sliver of a chance of getting a bottom tier house. If you are dating someone that isn’t at UGA that won’t matter much. If you are joining just to meet guys and party you will be disappointed.

not too late to become involved on campus! reach out to clubs and stuff before you rush and it will also help you meet other girls :)

Why did you go to UNG? If it was a bad rep in high school-you still have that. If it was grades- it will take most of your time trying to keep up. If it was money-then you won’t make dues. If you want to be in a sorority for Instagram posts and parties-its not for you.
