Fraternities at UGA incoming Fall Freshman
by: OOSI am coming from Colorado to UGA this Fall . I have reviewed this site and it appears thatSigma Chi, SAE, SNU, KA, FIJI, ChiPhi, and ATO are repeatedly held in high regard . Who do I touch base with for Rush ? How do you make contact with these groups . Much appreciate any help

Just get on the rush list when it opens the rush chairs will text you if they’re still looking for kids, fact of the matter is a lot of those places you listed are rather exclusive to even rush... like you gotta know somebody. With you being an out of stater you’re chances are better to hear from most places but if a Rushee called or texted me trying to rush I can already tell you before I meet the kid I don’t want him, nothing worse than being desperate. Just meet guys you fw and rush the places that hot you up (trust me you’ll get an overwhelming amount of texts inviting you out)

Half of those houses still invite kids out from the rush list, so sign up for that and you will start getting invites over Summer.
Use your connections to try and get a recommendation for the more exclusive like sae, getting an invite isn't that hard if you put yourself out there. Even the "old row" houses are still competing with kids from houses that they think are beneath them

I’m coming from Cali and was told for now to sign up on the UGA website and pay the fee ? Colorado OOS I would do the same . If you want to DM me holla .

Yes. Email the rush chair or call them directly and leave message . I was OOS as well . Zero connections. Definitely get on their party summer list . Make a time to come in the summer if you want any chance with these fraternities.
