Why is Aphi always ranked so low?
by: confusedWhy is alpha phi considered a bottom tier house here? I’m rushing in the fall and a legacy for aphi. but I don’t know if I should rush them because they are considered a bottom house

its a really good sorority, but i've heard they have internal problems with their national overhead. they also kinda lack diversity. i know girls in aphi and they all love it, but say it can be cliquey (so can any sorority). but you really shouldn't go into rush already hating on houses for being "bottom." that could be your home one day and you might love it. the tiers are literally just a made up social construct. aphi literally has the best house on campus, so you'd be stupid to not consider them over a tier ranking. also being a legacy does not hold nearly as much weight as it used to.

Uhhh so you can gain perspectives from different people and therefore better your organization overall? So the girls can meet and be friends with girls who aren't exactly like them? So that girls of all races feel like they're welcome and can fit in? Bye
