Sorority Overview

AXO: very sweet girls. Has some girls that party in it but as a whole the sorority itself isn’t too social, “church” girl stereotype
ADPI: old row, recruits a lot of pretty girls but also girls mainly from Geogria and the surrounding states, “white rich southern” girl stereotype
Alpha Gam: honestly pretty irrelevant, similar vibes socially to axo but the girls aren’t as cool, still very nice
AOPI: Half of them are very granola/churchy and the other half loves to party. Nice mix of girls and overall well respected on campus
APhi: interesting mix of girls. Definitely has potential to become better over the next couple years.
Chi O: similar vibe to ADPI regarding white wealthy southern girls except they overall don’t party as hard. Still very social just classier
Tri Delt: Had a great PC this past year. Knows how to have a good time and keep a strong sisterhood and strong academics
DG: Overall considered bottom tier however they still have a good amount of really fun girls who like to go out. Kinda like Alpha Gam though since the sorority as a whole just isn’t as social
DPhine: Also considered bottom tier. They have some very nice girls but definitely have a very different vibe compared to all the other sororities.
DZ: interesting mix of girls. Kinda irrelevant on campus. Good mix of sisterhood, social life, and academics
Gamma Phi: Fun girls. They can take a joke and out drink yall. Genuine sisterhood
Theta: Parties hard but also keeps to themselves most of the time. Seems cliquey
KD: hottest sorority by far but lacks a good sisterhood
Kappa: very Texas and very rich. Didn’t love how they handled recruitment. They aren’t super prevalent on campus
Phi Mu: similar vibe to ADPI but they recruit more out-of-state girls from across the country. Easy going and fun to be around
Pi Phi: very similar vibe to DZ. They always have one of the highest GPAs and focus on a strong sisterhood but also do still go out.
SDT: best philanthropy event. Keeps to themselves. Always been nice to me
SK: they have been dealing with some scandals this year and not sure how they’ll recruit in the future but overall nice, cute girls
Zeta: prides themselves on being classy girls but also will party extremely hard. Gives me religious private school vibes\n\n\n\n\n

A LOT of out of state girls- like a edgier mix of KKG & SK energy? a lot are super skinny & intense but there’s some sweet chill girls. ppl either love or hate them, it’s very 50/50! all i know for sure is that my friend got alcohol poisoning on her bid night with them<3

All these houses value uniqueness!! These were my top three too & I knew nobodyyy during recruitment but made sure I had a really funny story to tell & a unique outfit so they couldn’t forget me- ended up getting my top house & the gal that rushed me day one is my big now :)

I'll be completely honest, those 3 are definitely selective enough, especially AOPi and Chi O. It's because they have a good image and are usually considered in the realm of the "top" houses (depending on who you ask), but they aren't as intimidating as like Kappa or ADPi so girls really like them during rush a lot for being cool and pretty but still nice/friendly/relatable. This means they can be picky and will only give bids to girls they truly can 100% see fitting in in the house. I agree with the person above that it will be good to stand out, but in the end, if you are right for any of those 3 you will end up there, so don't stress too much, and if they cut you then shift your focus on the houses that want you :)
