if you’re talking about sororities, basically only dphie, dg, and alpha gam do like an actual rush process. for most other houses, you have to be recommended for membership by several active members and they have to have spots open. just wait until fall unless you have connections

I couldn’t agree with this more. My best advice, as I’m currently in a sorority, is to always wait and rush in the fall. Spring rush limits your chances of getting a bid greatly and most of the time girls end up settling for a house that they don’t truly love just because they want to be in a sorority. So, unless you have a lot of girls that are in a sorority who will be rooting for you, just wait until fall. That way you have all 19 houses to possibly choose from and talk to. Also, a heads up for everyone else interested in spring rush, if a sorority dropped you first round during the fall, they’re likely still not going to want to offer you a bid.
