COB’s ?????????????

when do we expect the cob list to be out or should I be looking into contacting each house?

My gamma chi sent me a list of sororities doing cob this year and ones that I think are still eligible are:
Delta Gamma
Delta Phi Epsilon
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Gamma Phi Beta
Sigma Delta Tau
SK and Theta were on the list but aren’t eligible anymore. Also kappa don’t come for me saying you don’t do COB I can literally upload a photo if you don’t believe me. I don’t know how long cob goes on for and if they have already filled up these spots.

Sororities can offer bids through COB until the reach chapter chapter, but they aren’t required to fill all those spots. There are fines for chapters who don’t reach quota for the freshman PC, but unless a chapter didn’t meet quota/doesn’t want to pay the fines, they aren’t required to do COB even if they are eligible.
Also most of the sororities you listed did meet quota this year, but I thought there were others chapters not listed that were below chapter total. Not sure where your gamma chi got that list from, unless those are only the sororities that confirmed they will be doing COB

Yeah but keep in mind that the houses rank obsessed girls don't want, like DG, SDT, Dphie, prob have the most amount of openings. They're great houses.
Guessing Kappa and Gamma Phi don't have as many spots.

No houses are giving out a lot of bids through COB. I heard DPhiE wasn’t going to take more than ~5 and already contacted everyone they’re interested in, and DG met quota so COB is optional for them (just like GPhi and Kappa). Like one of the other commenters said, fall COB is very small and informal, but there will probably be more opportunities in the spring.

When I called Panhellenic they gave me the exact same list but I’m not sure if they’re all still doing COB

Did you take it? I am debating a cob bid but $$ is a little tight rn so not sure if I should wait for spring

I would totally contact them! I know a lot of sororities have flexible plans with their dues so it’s worth a shot!
