Suicide Biding...

I did it two years ago and worked for me. I know they discourage but I think it’s better than ending up somewhere that you aren’t comfortable. If it doesn’t work out then you’ll be eligible for a snap bid. if you end up in a house you don’t want then drop you will have to wait to rush next year I think.

if your suicide it makes your chance of getting the one you want lower. if you rank both and neither of them rank you you’ll still get your top one bc you have to get one. if you only rank one you’ll released. that being said if you would absolutely hate everything if you got ur second and think there’s a sorority you would like more thag you could cob or get a snap bid or spring rush then yeah suicide bc if you get ur second you can’t rush for another year. you can still get snap bids if you suicide tho

People are saying this isn't true but, it is! The system itself does not like it when you don't maximize your options. The system isn't programed for you to do that. Therefore, you are less likely to get picked for your first choice house unless you are super high on their list. Which is risky.

think about it this way. if you really don’t think you would be happy at the other house and would end up dropping, you’re taking away a bid from a girl that actually wants to be there. I suicided and it worked out for me! make sure you tell the girls at the house you like how much you absolutely love it. interest is so important this round because we already have a sense of your personality so it’s really just if you want us.

Yeah I told the girl i talked to many many times that I really liked the sorority she was in. hopefully it is enough.

To "don't"--that is a lie. Suiciding will not decrease the chance that she'll get her first choice. Ask someone at the National Panhellenic Conference.
