PSA to all the girls who want to drop

Yes, I know getting dropped hurts, especially when you feel like you clicked with some of the top chapters.
Here's the deal, though. Those "top" houses have a more polished rush so everyone leaves thinking they had a deep connection when in reality, those houses are just better at girl flirting. It doesn't mean the other houses are weak or have a bad sisterhood -- they are definitely worth a shot.
I was crushed when I was cut by what I thought were my top houses before pref. I considered dropping but decided to go into pref anyway just to see what it was like. I ended up getting a bid to a chapter I wasn't sure about and I have to say, I kind of laugh looking back at it now. I've met my best friends.
I urge all of y'all to give the houses on your list a chance. I promise every house at UGA has something to offer.

This is a tiny part of your whole sorority experience. You don't have to connect with someone right this second; you could find that girl on bid day or weeks later. Rush is such a small amount of time and small number of girls you're talking to.
