sororities

It kinda seems unfair! I too will be rushing at UGA and I don't know a single person there. I have a good GPA and am involved in activities at my school, and I'm very outgoing! I hate to think that I wouldn't receive a bid due to lack of connections :( Are there really sororities that won't take you without connections? Can a "connection" be made during rush while you are talking to girls, or is that not enough to get you a bid? Your thoughts please...

Yep I know but I want to make an informed decision. I don't want to be trying to decide last minute.. I want to have everything ready so I can enjoy summer. I would really appreciate if someone could offer some advice or answers to my questions!

I am not trying to be rude but there is nothing for you to "decide." It's not like you can pick over the summer which sorority you want. The sororities get to pick you, you do NOT get to have your pick of all of them.

So, you mean to tell us, that you will not rush if aopi won't give you a bid? That's kind of crazy / the type of attitude that won't get you bid from them. Realize that they are a possible top choice, but not the only choice. There are many others that might in fact fit you better.
