why is kappa top?

after kappa’s “rush day” today i can’t see why everyone ranks them top... their insta posts seemed so try hard and weird and the webinar was so cringe

Because they aren’t really top in terms of anything meaningful. They’re just all uber rich and connected and walk around acting like they’re the best. That’s about it. That’s the only reason people even think they’re “top”. In terms of personality, looks, sisterhood & involvement ........ they‘re bottom. It’s well known on campus. I’m glad their webinar showcased this - it’s 100% accurate. PNMS, please don’t get swept up by the name. This house is a no go if you want real, genuine friends & a sisterhood that cares about things other than money and status. Maybe virtual recruitment will be good in some ways after all.....

Kappa is and always will be well respected. They uphold high standards that come off as exclusive. They stick to their same social circles and do little to diversify. That being said they have a very close sisterhood and if you are “good” enough to get in consider yourself lucky.

Just say ur an active in another sorority and go. Kappa girls are the most fun and loyal out of all the friends I have. Im in chi o, but kkg is top for a multitude of reasons. They get gorgeous girls and super fashionable girls as well!! Kkg is top and everyone knows it

Kappa just can’t stand that maybe PNMs are finally catching on. They always chalk all criticism up to “y’all just hate us cuz we’re better!!!” Like newsflash: maybe y’all need to wake up and realize you have serious issues you need to address. You are not respected among greek life because you have no real sisterhood, involvement, or academics. Meaning you’re basically just a country club.

No, I seriously don’t get it. I know a few older girls that I really like and knew from high school. Fun and cool. But those I am meeting aren’t like those I know. But I keep going back. And probably will again if they ask me. It just seems forced and if they are trying to be weird, too cool.
