Why does UGA think they're smart?

Y'all aren't even close to Berkeley, UCLA, MIT, VT, Vanderbilt, Duke, Wake Forest, GT, Stanford, etc. When you clearly aren't.
Y'all worked hard to get a good GPA and SAT/ACT score just to make it to a school that is garbage, but hey y'all can get wasted at your SEC tailgates and insane SEC parties.
Y'all came here to party, let's all be honest about that. Academics are not why anyone comes to UGA and if it was.... Your academic standards could use some upgrades...

I don’t really know why you took the time to come to another school’s Greek life page to discuss academics, but you do you. Most of my friends, including myself, got into at least one, if not more, of the schools you mentioned (GT, vandy, Stanford, berkley, NYU, etc), but go here because of free tuition and the fact it really is a great school, academically and experientially. I’m not sure if you’re an academically insecure ung kid or a socially insecure guy in major debt at some rich kid school, but I hope you find peace lmao

Wow I'm sure you got into tech and went to UGA instead because of the academics and not the party scene, sure... What about UGA is even average academically?

Uga is #9-13 top public university in the country, depending on the source, while tech has one of the highest rates of depression and one of the lowest ranks of student happiness in the country. Why are you spending so much time on this discussion thread?

A top 9-13 program for what? UGA doesn't have a single school in the top 20 in the nation. They were probably donors for whatever publication had them ranked. I don't go to tech TBH but we all know tech is miles ahead of UGA.
