How much sway does UGA give to legacies?

Their website says being a legacy doesn’t help out at all, but are they just covering their ass and then it’s a different story when it comes down to it?

Depends on the house. Some it does, others it doesn’t. Focus on fit. Many houses are eliminating favor give to legacies this year. So no advantage.

I was referring to getting into the school not a particular frat/sorority

If you are talking being admitted to school, NONE. That said - major donors still get their children in. Regular joes who are not big donors get zero preference as far as I can tell.

Unless your family are MAJOR donors or very significant alumni I promise legacy does not matter at all.
