instagram for PNMs

here’s some tips for girls who are going through rush clueless. been there, done that, so hopefully i can help y’all

1. please keep your instagram public for the next few months. it helps actives (current sorority girls) get a better understanding of who you are. It helps makes rush easier for both sides

2. dont post pics w alcohol, archive it for now. delete it if it’s on your vsco. this won’t blacklist you from all sororities but as stupid as it sounds, your first impression will be based off of that and not who you really are. Trust

3. being followed by girls in a sorority/the sorority insta page means almost nothing. sure it means they’re interested in you, but they could also cut you during rush. they’re just trying to get YOU as a pnm to pay attention to them so you keep asking them back. or to get you to think they’re bid promising you so you’ll pick them as a safety because you know you have a bid.

seriously go in with an open mind (and an open instagram ;) and it’ll all work out how it’s supposed to. this experience is based off me and my friends sororities and how they recruit so could be different for others but here’s some helpful tips. if you’re an active you can drop other social media tips, or if you’re a PNM drop questions
