tips for junior rushing

Does anyone know how rushing as an upperclassman hurts/helps you?

a lot of houses won’t take juniors :/

Don’t be discouraged! I have known juniors to rush and ended up just where they needed to be. I rushed as a sophomore and I had a great experience. Sororities have to meet an upperclassman quota, so a lot of sororities may give you more consideration than they would have if you were a freshman.
