recommendation letters???

I’m gonna be an out of state freshman in the fall and was wondering how necessary rec letters are for sororities? I also don’t have any legacy or connections to the UGA greek community, will this put me at a disadvantage during rush?

Get recs. Not required but lots of pnm's have them, so when it comes down to pnm's being equal and one has the rec and one doesn't, the one without is an easier cut. You don't need to be a legacy or have chapter connections to get a bid. But get recs.

barely anyone has recs for all 19 houses, so just get as many as you can. it was really difficult for me since neither of my parents were in greek life but i managed to get 12 or 13 i think.

also, if youre about to rush, please get off this garbage website. it will only make rush more difficult and give you preconceived notions
