rushing as a sophomore

I’m a freshman right now and didn’t rush, but feel as if I missed out. Is rushing as a sophomore a waste of time? (Don’t want to spring rush).
Also, do you need to know people to even get invited to rush events at the “better” fraternities?

You need to attend events in the summer for your best shot at a bid.

you definitely can, but greek like is more than just the 4 years you're here so try to find people you actually like other than just "top tier"
