Dropping & Bottom: fiji, Beta

So you just named the bottom tier fraternities as falling?? Hahahahahahahahaha that's just lazy.
Phi Delt is pretty much a dry fraternity and Beta can't recruit like they used to.
AEPi and Delta sig are pretty good though.

The KA and Chi Phi houses were knocked down as well. They are still old row. What does having your house knocked down have to do with it?

Phi Delt got suspended at one point like back to back didn't they? I thought that happened a while ago and that's why they weren't old row anymore.
Just like some people though Kappa Sig was as good as old row before they were kicked off for 5 years. They were too young to be old row though.

old row isn't a location (at UGA) its a date the fraternity was founded.
technically Phi Delt and any fraternity founded in the 1870-1890 range is old row.
Phi Delts old house was knocked down because it was getting old and there were Zoning issues, thats at least what my fraternity says (we're old row), but im not a Phi Delt so they might say otherwise.

All the fraternity houses on South Lumpkin from Broad to Baxter where built on University Land with land leases to the fraternities. These included Chi Phi and KA near Broad on Lumpkin by the Holiday Inn, then all the way down to Phi Delt on the corner of Lumpkin and Baxter. Meaning, the University owned the land and the fraternity owned the house. The University wanted the land for their own purposes. Chi Phi and KA had the land confiscated from under them, gave the University the finger, and their Alumni went and built there own houses. Phi Delt instead bowed their head to the University and meekly went to Greek Village and did as they were told. All in between 2007-2012 or so. Other houses taken were Pike, Sigma Chi and TEP.

Phi delt is okay. They had their first social w kappa and a random one w KD this sem and they had one w phi mu so they’ve got some good socials. Their guys will talk to the girls at socials too so that’s a plus. But have heard them talk ab each other behind their backs a little and that’s awk af. Some of the guys are a little awk too.

The nationwide substance-free policy is bringing SigEp into a bright future for fraternities. The goal for all SigEp chapters is to actively shift the paradigm in our chapters to promote an environment that is focused on academic success and away from the stereotypical fraternity environment. SigEp's Georgia chapter is leading the NewNormal we need now.
