how did ddd nationals find out?
by: dddProbably way blown out of proportion like they are saying and could happen to any other chapter here, but once it gets to the attention of the national office then they have to take some action. Just wondering how the word did get to their nationals...was it a new member mom finding out and blowing it up, or reported by an alumna/chapter advisor, or did nationals find out on their own from social media monitoring, or what...

Somewhere out there is a horrible person who has brought all of this pain and misery due to having an exceptionally vicious and vindictive personality...
I feel sorry for you because someday when you develop a conscience, if ever, you will have a long time to think about all of this suffering that you have caused to a group of girls who just wanted to enjoy their college days like everyone else....how you must have enjoyed sending that silly snap chat to nationals!
While there seems to be very little justice for Tri Delta right now, they will move on stronger and better! Adversity does build character and relationships!
For the person who started these actions, there will be justice someday somehow...
People always get what they deserve eventually!

Really? Well there are some people in this life who are so beyond the pale awful that they would think of searching out nationals and delivering a picture to them in order to cause chaos...
The one who did this accomplished her goal for sure but it was not done out of kindness or for any real justice....
There was nothing going on with Tri Delta that required this awful person’s intervention...
I’m honestly sorry for this fool who brought this on...
She will have to deal with it

Yo, anyone who saw it could have reported it. A guy, high schooler, friend, concerned active, enemy, etc. The problem lies with the actions. Stop trying to deflect. If it hadn’t happened, it wouldn’t be a problem. The Greek system is under attack b/c of stupid stuff like this. We continue to make stupid decisions, it will go away. With the crap that happens at our frats, it is only a matter of time.

Are you the mother of this awful person? So glad that she took this opportunity to stand up against Bid Day drinking or any other activity that she herself deemed unacceptable. She is the judge and jury and probably a terrible person with no kindness in her heart...
Anyway this is awful behavior and Karma does tend to take care of everything.....
She has probably singlehandedly destroyed a lot of lives but so be it...
It probably cannot be reversed now

No
The one who posted the snap chat was ignorant and meant no harm and probably is in counseling now...
but the other who passed it on to nationals was full of hate, envy, and mischief
That’s the difference... the damage has been done now but this miserable person probably does not care at all and is probably laughing about the sorrow she has caused to so many...
I hope everyone can rise above it!

You folks blaming the informer for the DDD misfortunes are missing the point. If it hadn't happened, there would be nothing to report. There is a bid day rule for all the sororities-no booze and no boys at the celebrations. Everyone knows this. It's one freaking celebration without alcohol, yet these members decided that one night without alcohol was too much to ask for the safety of their new members and the chapter. Those are the people you should be berating. They are the ones that chose to jeopardize their chapter's standing with UGA greek life and with their national org. Put the blame where it really lies-with the older members who supplied alcohol to underage members.

I don't think you should put blame on other sororities for tridelt getting probation. They have to take responsibility for themselves.
