out-of-state

by:

Can someone tell me how difficult is it for someone who is out-of-state and doesn't know many people in the greek system to get a bid from one of the "top-tier" or "upper-mid tier" fraternities? Such as SAE, KA, Chi Phi, FIJI, Sigma Chi, Sigma Ep, or ATO? Are out-of-state guys at a big disadvantage? Thanks

Difficult for fall 2013 since recruitment is over for the fall. Sig Ep and ATO may recruit during the Spring 2014 semester but it is unlikely the others will.

Any of the top 10 fraternities will be a good choice. All just finished fall recruitment and only a few will have spring recruitment. All are selective but SAE and ChiPhi are exclusive. You have to have UGA connections or big bucks to even be invited to a recruitment party.
