I would suggest contacting the Recruitment Chairs of each organization if you want the most trustworthy answer. Before I can answer your question I will need to know your shotgun time, chill to pull ratio, and favorite color of cargos.

Yeah. Most likely hang it up for this fall if you are interested in SNU,SAE , Fiji . Get to know those 3 fraternities and meet the guys . They are at the TOP of the food chain here.

See the earlier post about KA vs. Ato Vs. SNU Vs. Figi Vs. Phi Delta... good info there on the process.

I would say SAE is full and SNU and FIJI are close to being full. You are from Texas. UGA is like UT in that it all happens before formal rush. That is not really fair to out of state guys with no contacts, but that is how it is for the best houses.

You can try the houses you listed but odds are you have 2 choices 1) wait a year and meet guys your freshman year or 2) pledge to a lower quality house.

The three you mentioned have more than likely chosen their fall 2019 pledge classes. You should go through formal rush and see which fraternities are still looking for guys. Lots of middle tier/ lower tier houses like Beta Theta Pi, Pike, Sigma Chi, & Kappa Sig will have bids to give and are not necessarily 'bottom tier'.

Yeah, the top houses will be almost full. Most fraternities will save a few spots for formal rush week because they know there will be some really good out of state kids. Basically, only SAE, KA, FIJI, and maybe SNU will have no spots left.

any of these top three fraternities would turn down a top-tier, exceptional potential new member who showed up late, especially out-of-state guys. But you should, now, immediately, contact the chapters' president or rush chairman (see IFC website) to express your interest to ensure that you are noticed during formal rush.

Certainly, these three have identified, targeted and offered bids to their preferred rushees and are more than 95% full.

By the way, Fiji has a number of Texas members. Apparently they are strong in Texas at UT, SMU and Texas Tech.
