sorority ranks

by: hm

I like the trend that’s been going around lately of dividing into two tiers as I think this is the most accurate way to group sororities due to a large gap in between “lower top” and “upper middle”. also didn’t include sdt because they’re hard to rank!

UPPER- Kappa, ADPi, Phi Mu, KD, AOPi, Theta, DDD, ZTA, Chi O

MIDDLE- DZ, SK, AXO, Pi Phi, AGD, Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi, DPhiE, DG

LOWER- GDI’s

BOTTOM- georgia tech

What do you mean there’s a “large gap in between “lower top” and “upper middle”. That is extremely offensive and condescending. What makes a sorority lower top versus just being upper middle?

i’m not OP but there is def a gap lol. it’s not meant to be “condescending” but the middle group just recruits different types of girls than the upper group! that’s it! not too much to get offended by haha

I agree with your take. As most people that seem to rank, make lists, or group sororities, they think the people are BETTER in the upper list than the people grouped as LESS THAN OR NOT AS GOOD AS THE TOP. No wonder the pnm's on here think it will be "bad" to be in a sorority that is not in the top. Unfortunately, that is the way the system works and has operated forever. It sucks, but it's true that the system "favors" if you consider the "popular" ones the old ones that have a lot of wealthy people, or people that have connections, fame, or legacy ties & sometimes Beauty, that are already selected before rush starts. BTW, THIS IS ALL JUST a lot of college age people and if you look at the pointer there are a lot of average looking people in even the old sororities too, so out of 200 people, you see a lot of everything (except maybe color).
