spring 2019 fraternity ranks. what do ya'll think?

At UGA, Greek life gives you a way to socialize and form long lasting bonds with your brothers or sisters. Fun parties get thrown regularly and everyone gets to mix with awesome sororities and fraternities. Of course, each fraternity will be different from each other. Now here are the rankings of the fraternities.

All the frats listed in each group are NOT in any specific order.


Top (Old Row): KA SAE Chi Phi | Top (New Row): ATO Fiji SNU

You can't go wrong with these 6. Each one is great in their own ways. They have the best parties, pull, sorority connections, and attract the brightest and wealthiest in state guys (except FIJI). They are the top of UGA Greek Life for good reason.


Upper Middle: SX Beta DeltaSig PhiDelt

Mix of in state and out of state guys , successful alumni, got pull, good sorority connections and parties. Despite not being the top, these are still great (New Row) chapters.


Middle: KS Lambda Pike PiKapp SigEp

All of these are solid fraternities with solid sorority relations. I could see one or two of these being above or below, but I placed them the way they are for a reason.


Lower Middle: OX AEPi TEP AGR SigmaPi DTD

These are still considered middle, so still pretty decent. I feel this group constitutes the niche fraternities (AEPi, AGR, TEP). As well as the ones that struggle to pull solid rushees seen in the above groups and not have good pull or parties (OX, SigmaPi, DTD).


Bottom: The rest of the frats (Chi Psi, etc) belong in here (simply because they're small, very specific, weird, etc) but the social life of the average member here is still better than the average independent at UGA.


Lastly, if you are an average GDI , you are right here. \n\n\n\n\nObviously some groups have fraternities that are way stronger in both parties and pull than the others in the group (SX Beta being stronger than DSP/PDelt) but are much more comparable to those in their current group than in the above group in my opinion.


While rankings do matter, what is ultimately the most important factor to anyone in Greek Life, both members and rushees, is the house you fit in the best with and what you could see yourself in the future in. Every fraternity is a solid choice, even some of the bottom ones. And yes, I said that.

Everyone in Greek Life has their own and very respectable opinions, but this is mine.
