Does it matter which state you are from when it comes to rushing like it is at Alabama?

I think Location REALLY matters. If you know more people or have more ties to a University like UGA, it is so much easier to have people fight for you, or help you get into the Sorority or Frat that you like. Some frats and sororities even have siblings in them, or lots of people from the same high school. If you are out of state, it is so much more difficult to have those ties.

All of this importance on being in state sounds like inbreeding. There are lots of cool girls from OOS that don’t always get a fair Shake bc of this need for sororities to fill their houses with people they already know.
