sorority recruitment as a 3rd year
by: JuniorI’ll be a 3rd year this fall (not a transfer). I was wondering if it’s worth trying to rush as an upperclassmen. I went through recruitment for a few days once before I dropped, but after reconsidering I think it’s something I may be interested in again. Did anyone possibly have good luck rushing as a junior?

It's worth it and possible to find a house. There are a few juniors that get bids every year and the separate upperclassmen quota helps so you wouldn't be competing with freshmen for spots. Your best chances lie with houses where you have made connections with actives who like you well enough to pull for you during recruitment, especially if you are involved on campus and have good grades and a good reputation. You want to show that in your short time left here you would be an asset to the sorority. Get recs and go for it!
